Vision and Mission Statements

Mission

We provide compassionate, healing, and professional mental health services to the people of the Salt Lake Valley, the Wasatch Front, and surrounding cities and states. Our goal is to assist those with emotional, psychological, behavioral, and/or relationship issues, whether adult, adolescent, or child, and to bring healing and recovery for disorders, restoration of lives, resolution of conflicts, and/or reconciliation of relationships. Recognizing that the human experience, whether troublesome or fulfilling, has spiritual, social, psychological, and physical components, and that life's stresses vary from individual to individual, our clinicians combine traditional counseling and psychotherapy (individual treatment, family therapy, child and adolescent therapy, marital and couples counseling, and group therapy) services with a sensitivity to each person’s faith and spiritual walk, welcoming and respecting those from all faiths as well as those who have no religious affiliation. Additionally we provide seminars, workshops, critical incident stress management, interventions for organizations, and supervision and consultation for clergy and other mental health professionals.

Because we have been reconciled to God through personal faith in Jesus Christ and are motivated by His love to serve as agents of healing and reconciliation:

Our Vision is to provide recognized and respected professional mental health and life coaching services to the people of Utah and other western states. We desire for all who receive our compassionate care to experience God’s grace and find healing, reconciliation, and wholeness of mind and heart.

Faithfulness: We seek after, and follow the leadership of Jesus Christ in all we do, protect the dignity and confidentiality of our clients, and encourage healthy change.

Responsibility: We recognize and value the worth of each individual with whom we live and work and those we serve, use our resources carefully, and demonstrate ethical conduct in all that we do and encourage others to do the same.

Authenticity: We treat our clients and one another in a caring, respectful and honest manner, seek to enrich the lives of those we serve and with whom we work, and we commit to anticipate and understand the other person’s needs and perspectives to promote satisfaction and trust.
